Where am I?

I feel like such a slacker! I haven't been updating my blog nearly as much as I want to! But I have been SO busy!! I have been decorating, shopping, wrapping gifts, etc. My living room looks like Santa's Sarah's workshop! Hehe. I'm hoping to get most of the wrapping done tomorrow. Then I can clean up the living room and have time to blog some.

I am SO excited about Christmas! Matthew's daughter Callie will be here on the 23rd!! She is going to be here til the 30th. We are all going to my grandparent's house for Christmas, so she will get to experience Christmas with my family for the first time! YAY!!! She's met my grandparents before, and my parents and sister. But she hasn't met my Aunt Brenda. Hehe. She will LOVE Aunt Brenda! Aunt Brenda will spoil Callie!

Even though she is going to be a step-child on my part, she is the first great grandchild on my mom's side! I'm happy about that. She's totally the greatest kid EVER!!

Well, that's my mini-update. I am exhausted. I'm going to bed. Tune in later to hear all about my car DRAMA! Ugh.

Much Love,

This will touch your heart

I have to post this. My heart aches every time I hear this song. To think about the loss of a child. Todd and Angie Smith lost their baby girl Audrey Caroline. (Todd is in the christian group Selah.)

Here is the video:

I Will Carry You

There were photographs I wanted to take
Things I wanted to show you
Sing sweet lullabies, wipe your teary eyes
Who could love you like this?
People say that I am brave but I'm not
Truth is I'm barely hanging on
But there's a greater story
Written long before me
Because He loves you like this

So I will carry you
While your heart beats here
Long beyond the empty cradle
Through the coming years
I will carry youAll my life
And I will praise the One whose chosen me
To carry you

Such a short time
Such a long road
All this madness
But I know
That the silence
Has brought me to His voice
And He says...I've shown her photographs of time beginning
Walked her through the parted seas
Angel lullabies, no more teary eyes
Who could love her like this?

I will carry you
While your heart beats here
Long beyond the empty cradle
Through the coming years
I will carry you
All your life
And I will praise the One whose chosen Me
To carry you

Doesn't it just get to you? Even if you've never lost a child, or even if you're not a parent.

Selah is my all time favorite group. Their music makes me think of the worship we will experience in Heaven. So amazing.

Much Love,
